Bruno Bossi

The name's Bossi. Bruno Bossi. Born in Angola to Italian and Portuguese parents, and growing up in Cape Town, it's no wonder Bruno's work has such an international and eclectic feel to it. To say it's unusual would be doing it a disservice. It's so much more than that. Surreal, magical, topsy-turvy, hilarious and truly mad... with a twist of Bossi.

Bruno first stepped into the creative industry as an award-winning photographer across Europe and South Africa before really finding his niche as a director (first in a duo and then solo) which led to him opening him own production company - Carbon). Bruno's visually arresting and utterly captivating work for the likes of KFC (of which there are buckets), Nissan, Heineken, Mercedes and many more got adland paying attention and positioned him as one of the most exciting names to look out for. And you have to ask yourself, IT CAN'T GET BETTER CAN IT...

IT CAN!

In the last year Bruno has absolutely dominated the awards circuit. His completely barmy and brilliant KFC Let There Be Cake won a Gold Cannes Lion for Film, a Silver Pencil for Direction at The One Show, was voted the overall winner for Direction at Ciclope Asia and won a Silver for Direction at Ciclope Berlin. And to round it off this film won Best Ad of the Year at Creative Circle South Africa alongside KFC M ssing Piece picking up 3rd Best Ad of the Year. Not bad, not bad at all.

In his free time you might find Bruno traversing mountains, scoping out the best secret late night food spots in Thailand or just cosying up to his dog, Toska. And maybe just maybe - if he can allow himself five minutes - you may spot him out kitesurfing. Unstoppable!
